Please take this tour of NYU Langone Medical Center's Clinical Engineering Department
The appropriate and safe operation of clinical (diagnostic and therapeutic) equipment is paramount to the proper functioning of any health care facility. The Clinical Engineering function at NYU Hospitals Center is responsible for testing, repairing, and maintaining in proper and safe operating condition, the hospital's diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. - Review equipment purchase/service contracts and make recommendations.
- Review equipment requests for equipment that costs more than $20,000.
