Employee and Faculty Housing

NYU Langone Medical Center leadership is aware of the role housing plays in sustaining the mission of our institution, and Housing Services strives to be a housing resource for medical center faculty and staff. The office works closely with academic departments, Human Resources, deans, and senior leadership at the medical center to maintain transparent to fairly allocate this scarce resource. With high demand and limited supply, however, on-campus housing remains a challenge.

In order to be eligible to apply for housing, your employment status must be full-time and compensated and in one of the categories below:

  • Nurse
  • House Staff/Clinical Fellow
  • Research Postdoctoral Fellow
  • Faculty

Application forms are provided below, and there are housing waiting lists. An assignment offer would be based upon availability, date of application, family size, and the occupancy guidelines for the apartment. Eligibility must be maintained in order to apply for or remain in medical center housing. Should your employment status or position change, you would be required to vacate within 30 days.
