Sustainability

The Real Estate Development and Facilities Department sees the Campus Transformation as an opportunity to build a healthier medical center to benefit our patients, our staff, the community and the global environment.

To this end the Department has undertaken sustainability initiatives in Energy Management, Sustainable Architecture, Sustainable Operating Practices and Community Outreach and Training.  In 2007-2008 alone these initiatives have resulted in over $2,000,000 in ongoing annual savings.
